Ana began dancing ballet, under the strict Russian Vaganava style, when she was four years old and soon there after began dancing on pointe at the age of ten.  Due to Ana’s dedication and strict ballet, character dance, and pointe instruction without knowing it she began following in her mother’s footsteps. After many years training as a ballerina she had a strong desire to expand her repertoire, and did so by attending different dance academies in the DC/Northern VA area, and advanced in disciplines such as, contemporary, lyrical, jazz, flamenco, hip-hop, and ballroom dance. During Ana’s early dance career she had the opportunity to perform as an apprentice for Ballet Hispanico, in New York, NY, and attend many award winning summer dance intensives, such as The Rockette Experience, where she got to perform with the Rockettes’ at Radio City Music Hall and take master jazz and tap classes with the company. She also spent a short time dancing with the American Ballet Theatre, and was also asked to join the American Academy of Ballet’s Summer School of Excellence, receiving instruction from the infamous Mignon Furman, and many other instructors from the Bolshoi Ballet, ABT, and New York City Ballet. Some of Ana’s most memorable performances include the Lion King, the Nutcracker, and Don Quixote.
