DANCE KRAZE

gaby gudiel
Gaby Gudiel has been dancing since the age of three and hasn’t stopped since. With dance running in the family, her grandmother was a Bolivian dancer, movement and rhythm have always come naturally. Over the years, she’s trained in a variety of styles including Bolivian folk, ballet, jazz, hip hop, modern, etc. with a strong foundation in modern and jazz leading up to college.
She attended James Madison University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture and a minor in Dance. While at JMU, she danced for three seasons with the university’s hip hop team, Mozaic, gaining knowledge in hip hops development and foundations.
Now 23, Gaby is excited to share her passion through teaching. She loves helping students connect with dance in their own unique way.
Outside of teaching at this studio, she also teaches ballroom in Richmond, and works in the architecture field. She’s currently shadowing a local architect on two projects in development and taking on small-scale design work for for an upcoming project of his as well, balancing both of her creative passions.
