The Dance Kraze Krew Competition Team had a busy and exciting year as they travelled around to
various competitions. This year’s team consists of 25 dancers. The DK2 team started off the season in
Norfolk, VA where they competed with On Point Dance Competition. In Norfolk, they competed in a
total of 17 dances. The team won several high score awards and multiple judges awards for Creative
Concept, Crowd Pleasers, and Potential Plus. A few weeks later, the team travelled to Richmond, VA
where they competed with Star Talent Competition. They once again competed with all 17 dances.
While in Richmond, the team won multiple 1sts in categories, Platinum and High Gold Ratings, and many
top ten overall.
In June, the entire team will be travelling to Virginia Beach for the National Competition with On Point
Dance Competition. The team will be performing all 17 dances at their final competition.
The Dance Kraze Krew Boosters worked hard throughout the year by hosting several fundraisers and
were able to raise enough money to pay for their 2 nd regional competition as well as pay for Nationals
this coming June. The Boosters sold candy and recital trophies to raise money. They held a Trunk-Or-
Treat, a calendar fundraiser and a 50/50 raffle as well as hosted Spirit Nights at local restaurants. They
also held the first annual Winter Formal. The dedication and hard work of all the dancers and their
parents have paid off!
The staff and I are so proud of the hard work and dedication from the DK2 team this year!
