The Dance Kraze Krew is Dance Kraze's very own competitive dance program. After having the competition season canceled last year due to the pandemic, the DK2 team came back stronger and ready to work hard this season. The Dance Kraze Krew Competition Team had a busy and exciting year as they traveled to various competitions. This year’s team was the largest team Dance Kraze has ever had -- a total of 24 dancers. The DK2 team started the season in Woodbridge, Virginia where they competed with Groove Competition. While in Woodbridge, they competed in a total of 18 dances. All 18 dances qualified for Nationals while receiving Elite Diamonds, Diamonds, and Elite Sapphires. Additionally, the team won several Overall awards and Judges Choice awards. A few weeks later, the team traveled to Arlington, Virginia where they competed with On Stage America. They once again competed with all 18 dances. While in Arlington, the team won High Platinum, Platinum, and High Gold awards and several overall awards.

In July, the entire team traveled to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina to compete in the National Competition with Groove Competition. The DK2 group performed all 18 dances at their final competition.

The Dance Kraze Krew Boosters worked hard throughout the year by hosting several fundraisers and raised enough money to pay for the second regional competition and Nationals in July. The Boosters sold candy and recital trophies to raise money. They even sold Krispy Kreme Donuts and Boston Butts. The Boosters also held a calendar fundraiser, a 50/50 raffle, and hosted Spirit Nights at El Caporal and CiCi’s Pizza. The dedication and hard work of all the dancers and their parents have paid off!

The staff and I are so proud of the hard work and dedication from the DK2 team this year!
