DANCE KRAZE

Jocelyn Mahar
Miss Jocelyn has been dancing for 22 years, ever since she was two years old, and has been teaching for the past five years. She has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, modern, lyrical, and competition dance, but ballet has always been her favorite style. As a teacher, she especially loves working with the younger kids, but she truly enjoys teaching dancers of all ages and styles. She has choreographed many competition routines that have earned judges' awards and overall placements. Nothing makes her happier than seeing her students accomplish something they've worked so hard on. Outside the studio, Miss Jocelyn works in the medical field and recently graduated from Virginia State University with her undergraduate degree in Health Science with a concentration in Biology. She plans on going back to school in the future, though she's still exploring what path she wants to take. When she's not dancing or working, she loves spending time with her labradoodle, Gunner, her chickens, and her boyfriend, Isaiah.
